Editorial independence
Editorial decisions at LumiSouq are made by our editorial team alone. No retailer, brand or affiliate partner can buy a recommendation, a ranking or a rating, and none sees or approves our content before publication. Where a commercial relationship is relevant to a page, we disclose it on that page.
How we research
Our advice is based on desk research: manufacturer specifications and manuals, published listings at Gulf retailers, and warranty, delivery and after-sales terms as they apply in the GCC. Each guide records its sources and the date its data was last reviewed.
- We do not claim hands-on testing unless a page explicitly says we tested it.
- We never publish customer reviews or ratings that customers did not write.
- We never invent prices, warranty terms or stock status — every figure comes from an offer recorded in our database.
Ratings are editorial
The score shown next to a product is our editorial rating, based on specifications, value for money and suitability for Gulf homes. It is not an average of customer reviews and is never presented as one. Where we show "editorial reviews", those are articles written by our team.
Prices and the "lowest price" claim
Prices are collected from retailer pages and can change at any time, so we show a last-checked date with every offer. We only describe a price as the "lowest currently listed price" when the selected country has at least two in-stock offers and the cheapest one was checked within the last 30 days.
Sponsored content
Sponsored or paid content is labelled at the top of the page and is never presented as an editorial pick inside our "best of" rankings. Affiliate links pass through a redirect and carry rel="sponsored nofollow", with a visible disclosure on every monetized page.
How we are funded
